These Creation coloring pages show an image of God creating Heaven and Earth, light and dark, plants, animals, and Adam and Eve. On the first day of creation, or "In the beginning", God created Heaven and Earth and all things. This is a perfect concept to teach in First Communion class with the first catechism questions and these are the very first words of the Bible and the Apostles Creed. These PDFs print 8.5x11" single sided.
This picture is based on the catechism pictures from Benziger's Living My Religion series, a 1940s reprint of the Baltimore Catechism.
1:1 In the beginning God created heaven, and earth.
1:2 And the earth was void and empty, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved over the waters.
1:3 And God said: Be light made. And light was made.
1:4 And God saw the light that it was good; and he divided the light from the darkness.
1:5 And he called the light Day, and the darkness Night; and there was evening and morning one day.
