Holy Spirit Pictures To Color

Our Confirmation ebooklet has Holy Spirit pictures and symbols. We also have several versions in our Catholic coloring pages ebook.

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

They are good for Confirmation or celebrating the feast of Pentecost or Whitsunday.

Two Holy Spirit Pictures

Very good times to teach about the Holy Spirit are when:

  • Making the Sign of the Cross.
  • Praying the Glory Be prayer.
  • Saying the Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary.
  • Studying the Holy Trinity for Confirmation.
  • Honoring Pentecost or Whit Sunday.

The Sign of the Cross

We make the Sign of the Cross prayer at the beginning and end of our prayers. This is the way Jesus wanted us to pray.

  • In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

Be sure to say "and of the" for each of the Three Persons as this shows Their equality in the Blessed Trinity.

The Glory Be Prayer

We say the Glory Be during the Mass, the Rosary, and at other Catholic services like the Divine Office. You can teach it in both English and Latin here.

The Third Glorious Mystery of the Rosary

The Descent of the Holy Ghost is the Third Mystery of the Rosary. It tells of when the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles and Mary on Pentecost fifty days after Easter. We have Rosary coloring pages here.

The Holy Trinity

We believe in Three Persons in One God and this is called the Holy Trinity or Blessed Trinity:

  • God the Father,
  • God the Son, and
  • God the Holy Ghost.

Pentecost Or Whit Sunday

Pentecost is near the end of the Paschal or Easter Season and is 50 days after Easter. These PDFs print to 8.5x11" single sided.
